Soak 2 envelopes gelatin in ½ cup apple sauce. Mix with ¾ cup sugar and ¾ cup apple sauce. Cook for twenty minutes and add ½ cup chopped walnuts and 2 teaspoons of vanilla and cool. Pour into buttered pans. Cut into pieces and roll in cornstarch.

Add ½ cup karo if more sweetness is desired.
