An Mochi (Microwave)

  • 1 1/2 cups mochiko
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups water, no less
  • 1 can (16 oz.) koshian
  • Potato starch (katakuriko)

Combine mochiko and sugar. Pour water slowly into mixture while stirring. Pour into greased 5-cup tube pan. Cover and cook on HIGH for 7 minutes. Place mochi on board sprinkled with katakuriko. Cut mochi into 15 pieces. Fill with an; seal and shape into dumplings. Roll lightly in katakuriko or mochiko.
