Kneaded Fudge

Mrs. Fusae Nakakura – Haina

  • 3 c white sugar
  • 3 T cocoa
  • 3 T butter
  • 1 c milk
  • 1/4 c water

Mix and cook until the soft ball stage. Let cool until cold. Then beat until it begins to grain.

Now knead on a buttered platter or board until it resembles putty. Then add 1 tsp extract and nuts, if desired. Pat into desired shapes
