Clam-Cheese Dip

  • 1 7 oz. can minced clams
  • 1 cup dry cottage cheese
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp. Tabasco
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp. buttermilk

Drain the clams, reserving 1/4 cup juice. Mix together the cottage cheese, lemon juice, Tabasco, garlic powder, buttermilk and clam juice. Stir in the clams. Taste for seasoning and heap in a bowl. Makes 2 cups, allow 4 tbsp. per serving.
