Ono No Frosting Cake

• 1 block butter (1/2 cup)
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 5 eggs
• 3/4 cup vegetable oil
• 1 box Duncan Hines Butter Cake Mix
• Dash of salt
• 1/2 cup walnuts – chopped

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray or grease 9 x 13 baking pan.

Cream butter with sugar. Add sour cream and vanilla. Mix well. Add five eggs all at once to above mixture. Beat. Add oil and mix again. Add cake mix, salt and walnuts. Mix again.

Pour into prepared baking pan and bake for one hour.

OPTIONAL: Fold 3 Tbsp. Folgers Coffee Crystals into the cake batter – excellent taste.
