Ovenless Cookies (makes 24)
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp. cocoa
- ½ cup nonfat dry milk
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tbsp. butter or margarine
Mix together in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir and boil for 2 minutes. This will burn if you don’t stir it. Take pan off the range and add ¼ cup peanut butter. Stir until peanut butter is melted. Add 1½ cups rolled oats. Mix well. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla, if you like. Drop from spoon onto paper or plate. Let cool before serving or storing.
