Steamed Bread Pudding

Mrs. M. Toma – Kurtistown

  • 1½ c bread crumbs (toasted)
  • 1 c flour
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 T salad oil
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c raisins
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp allspice

Combine all of the ingredients and pour into a well-greased bowl or pan and steam for about 1½ hours or until pudding is firm when touched.
