Carrot Pudding

  • 1 c grated potato
  • 1 c grated carrots
  • 1 c flour
  • 1 c sugar
  • ½ c butter
  • 1 tsp soda
  • ½ c currants
  • ½ c raisins
  • 2 T sweet chocolate

Cream butter and sugar well. Take a little of measured flour and sprinkle over raisins and currants. Add soda to grated potato. Add flour to creamed mixture, then add remaining ingredients. Pour into greased molds, and steam for 2½ hours. Serve with hard sauce.
