Great ‘N Easy Rolls From Scratch

- 1 pkg. dry yeası
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c, margarine
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1 egg
Thoroughly mix dry yeast with 1 1/2 cups of the flour, plus sugar and salt. Heat water, milk and margarine over low heat until quite warm. Add to yeast mixture and beat for 2 minutes, medium speed. Add egg and 1/2 cup more flour and beat 2 more minutes. Stir in remaining flour. Cover and let rise until double. Punch down and shape as desired. Let rolls rise again until double. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden. Makes 2 dozen medium rolls.
