Cheese Wafers

  • 1/4 1b. butter (softened)
  • 1 c. cheddar cheese (finely grated)
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. dry mustard
  • Dash cayenne

Mix together – divide in half. Shape each half. Shape each half in long roll.
Wrap in Saran and refrigerate until hard, for several hours or overnight.

Slice 1/4-inch thick, put on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees about 10 minutes, until just barely brown on the edges.
