Rolled Oysters

  • 2 jars (10 oz. size) fresh oysters
  • Garlic salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound bacon
  • Wooden picks

Drain oyster thoroughly; pat with paper towels. Season generously with garlic salt and pepper. Cut oysters into halves or thirds, depending on size. Cut bacon slices in half and use to wrap each piece of oyster; secure with wooden pick. Place oyster rolls on rack of broiler pan and broil 4 inches from heating unit until bacon is crisp. Serve immediately.
