Aplets

  • 2 envelopes gelatin
  • 1 1/4 c. applesauce
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • (1/2 c. Karo if more sweetness is desired)

Soak the gelatin in 1/2 c. applesauce. Mix with 3/4 c. sugar and 3/4 c. applesauce. Cook for 20 minutes and add chopped nuts and vanilla and cool. Pour into buttered pans. Cut into pieces and roll in cornstarch.
