Mango Seed

  • 1 gallon dried mango seeds
  • 2 boxes brown sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. five spice
  • red coloring

In large pot, add enough water to cover the mango seeds and boil for 1/2 hour. Drain, add sugar and cook over low flame, stirring constantly (1/2 hour). Add coloring, spice and continue cooking for another 1/2 hour, stirring constantly.
