Salad Dressing #2

Marinade:

  • 1 cup shoyu
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 cup salad oil
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • Garlic, crushed or finely minced

Pour marinade over the following vegetables and marinate overnight:

  • 20 cherry tomatoes, cut in half
  • 1/2 celery stalk
  • 1 round onion, sliced

Add before serving:

  • Fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • Zucchini, sliced
  • Bell pepper, sliced

Pour over lettuce and serve.

OPTIONAL: Reduce sugar and add a little lemon juice.
