Bread Pudding #2

  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 4½ cups milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 loaf bread, cubed
  • ½ cup seedless raisins
  • 3 tbsp. melted butter

Add beaten eggs to the sugar in a large bowl. Slowly stir in milk and vanilla. Add and stir the bread, raisins and melted butter. Pour into two 9 inch square baking pan and place on a rack a little below the center of the oven for even baking temperature. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour, until a table knife inserted near the center comes out clean
