Shrimp Soup
Misue Sakae – Kurtistown
- 1/2 lb frozen shrimps
- 6 c water
- 1 1/2 c chopped watercress
- 1 small tomato, sliced
- 1 T ginger root
- 1 tsp salt
Cut shrimps in halves. Add to boiling water with the ginger. Cook for 15 minutes. Add watercress, tomato and salt. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
