Fruit Cake Bars

Pan Size: 9×13-inch pan
Baking Time: 30-40 minutes + 10 minutes
Temperature: 350°

Crust:

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Filling:

  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. candied fruits
  • 1 c. walnuts, chopped

1. Cut butter into sugar and flour to form a crust.
2. Press into a 9×13-inch pan.
3. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until light brown.
4. Blend together: flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, and eggs.
5. Add walnuts and candied fruits.
6. Pour over crust and bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes.
