Peach Bar

Pan Size: 9×13-inch pan

Baking Time: 10 minutes; 35-40 minutes

Temperature: 350°

Crust:

  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. butter

Filling:

  • 1 large can peaches, (29 oz.), mashed and drained
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice

  1. Cut the butter into the flour and sugar.
  2. Lay half of the mixture on the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch pan and bake at 350º for 20 minutes. (Press the mixture down firmly.)
  3. Mash the peaches and add the other ingredients to the peaches.
  4. Put the filling on top of the baked crust.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining crust mixture on top of the filling.
  6. Bake at 350º for 35-40 minutes.
