Holiday Pie
- 1 sm pkg lime-flavored gelatin
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1 can (6-oz) evaporated milk
- 1 pkg fluffy white frosting mix (2-layer size)
- 1/4 cup creme de menthe
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate pieces, ground or finely chopped
- 1 baked 9-inch pastry shell
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add evaporated milk. Chill till partially set. Prepare frosting mix according to package directions. Beat in chilled gelatin mixture and the creme de menthe. Stir in ground chocolate pieces. Chill till mixture mounds slightly. Turn into baked pastry shell. Chill. Top with chocolate curls.
NOTE: This goes well with chocolate cookie-type crust.
