Russian Tea Cookies

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tbsp. water
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla, water, and flour. Mix well and add pecans. Form small rolls 1-1/2 inches long. Bake on ungreased cooky sheet in slow oven (300 degrees) for 20 minutes or until brown. While hot, roll in confectioners’ sugar.

Makes 3 dozen.
