Stock (Katsuobushi)

- 3 cups water
- 1/2 cup katsuobushi
- 3-inch konbu
Bring water to boil. Add konbu and katsuobushi, boil 3 minutes and remove konbu. Turn off heat and let stand until katsuobushi settles to the bottom, then strain.
