Spam Gau Gee

  • 1 can (12 oz.) spam, grated
  • 2 cans water chestnuts, chopped
  • 1 stalk green onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. oyster sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ajinomoto
  • 1 pkg. (4.75 oz.) gyoza no kawa or won ton wrapper

Mix all ingredients except wrapper. Place 1 teaspoon of this mixture on each wrapper; dampen edges with water and fold to seal. Fry in heated oil until a light golden brown. Drain on paper and serve hot.
