Shortbread
- 2 blocks butter
- 1 block margarine
- 1 cup white sugar
- 3¾ cups regular flour
- Almond extract – few drops
- cake decors
- chopped nuts (optional)
Cream butter, margarine and sugar well. Add almond extract. Add flour into mixture. Pat into ungreased pan (jelly roll pan). Sprinkle cake decors and cut in squares before baking. Bake at 250 degrees for approximately 2½ hours. Cut again along same lines before cooling.
