Pumpkin Bars

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups canned pumpkin
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 3 eggs
  • Nuts

Topping:

  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 3/4 stick soft butter
  • 1 tsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar

Mix together first 12 ingredients. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Let cool. Combine topping ingredients and beat well. Spread on baked layer and refrigerate. Cut into bars and serve.
