Pizza
- 6 slices sandwich bread (hamburger buns, refrigerated biscuits or crescent roll, or English muffins may be used)
- 1 can tomato sauce or tomato soup (tomato soup is sweeter)
- 2 Tbsp. oregano leaves
- several slices of pepperoni (salami, bologna, luncheon meat, goteburg sausage, or any other type of prepared meat will do or 1 can sliced mushroom or 3/4 lb. ground beef, browned and drained)
- 1/2 c. shredded cheese (mild cheddar cheese, Mozzarella, American or other type will do)
Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the bread. Sprinkle with oregano, sprinkle with shredded cheese and then place thin slices of pepperoni or salami. Bake in preheated oven 350 degree F. until golden brown.
