Green Bean Casserole #2

  • 1 No. 303 can cut green beans
  • 1 3½ oz. can French fried onions
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 4 oz. can mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp. toasted, slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese

Place alternate layers of drained beans and onions in a quart casserole. Mix soup, pepper, salt, mushrooms, and the mushroom liquid with the almonds; pour over beans and onion mixture. Sprinkle cheese over top. Bake in a 375º F. oven about 30 minutes. Yield: 6 servings.
