Green Bean Casserole #2
- 1 No. 303 can cut green beans
- 1 3½ oz. can French fried onions
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- dash of pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 4 oz. can mushrooms
- 2 tbsp. toasted, slivered almonds
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
Place alternate layers of drained beans and onions in a quart casserole. Mix soup, pepper, salt, mushrooms, and the mushroom liquid with the almonds; pour over beans and onion mixture. Sprinkle cheese over top. Bake in a 375º F. oven about 30 minutes. Yield: 6 servings.
