Fried Mochi

  • 1 Box Mochiko (16 oz.)
  • 1 1/4 Cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 3/4 Cups Water
  • 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
  • 3-4 Tbsp Black Sesame Seeds

1. Mix all ingredients together. Place into a container and refrigerate overnight or at least 6 hours.

2. Drop by tablespoons into hot oil and cook until brown.

3. Drain on baking sheet lined with brown paper bag and paper towels.

4. Press each mochi to remove oil.
