Dressing

  • 1 tsp. minced onion
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 2 or 3 slices stale bread
  • 1 tbsp. parsley
  • 2 tbsp. minced celery
  • 1 tsp. grated lemon peel
  • 2 slices crisp bacon

Melt butter and simmer with onion. Soak bread in water and squeeze dry—crumble with parsley, celery, lemon peel, salt and pepper. Crumble bacon and add.
