Crispy Wun Tun

  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1 can water chestnuts, grated
  • 1 Tbsp. oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • Wun tun wrappers

Mix ingredients. Use 3/4 tsp. of mixture and wrap; makes 60.

Heat oil medium to high (at least 400º). Fry a few at a time till crispy and golden brown (about 3 to 4 minutes).

Clean old oil and add 1/2 cup to new oil; will brown immediately. Always save your old oil and refrigerate to stay fresh!
