Butter Biscuits

  • 3 c. flour
  • 6 tsp. baking powder
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 block butter or margarine (I use 3/4 block)

1. Mix dry ingredients.
2. Cut 6 Tbsp. butter into flour mixture.
3. Mix milk and eggs in separate bowl.
4. Gradually add milk mixture to flour mixture and mix well.
5. Melt 1 block butter in 9×13″ pan in oven.
6. Drop batter by heaping tablespoon onto melted butter. Brush melted butter on each biscuit.
7. Bake at 400 degrees until done.
