Brown Sugar Rounds

Class of 1969

• 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
• 1-1/4 cups packed brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1-1/4 cups flour
• 1/4 tsp soda
• 1/8 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Mix butter, brown sugar and egg. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet as dough will flatten and spread. Bake in 350 degree oven 12-15 minutes or until set.

Yield: About 3 dozen cookies
