Broccoli with Ham (Brecol con Jamon)

- 2 (10-oz.) pkgs. frozen broccoli spears
- 2 T. butter or margarine
- 1½ T. olive oil
- 1 lg. clove garlic, crushed
- ½ sm. onion, sliced
- 1 (5-oz.) pkg. sliced cooked ham, cut into 2¼-inch strips
- ½ c. croutons
- 2 T. grated Parmesan cheese
Cook broccoli according to package directions; drain. Cut broccoli into thirds. Place in a serving dish. In a small skillet, heat butter and oil. Cook garlic on medium heat for 1 minute; discard. Add onion and cook until onion is clear. Add ham; cook 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in croutons. Spread mixture over broccoli, toss and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serves 6.
