Taro Puffs
Norma Carr
- 1½ c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- ½ tsp. salt
- 2 c. finely grated taro
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- Oil, for frying
Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Sprinkle and mix into taro. Mix well with beaten eggs. Drop by teaspoonful into hot oil. Fry over slow fire until brown. Drain on paper towels. Makes about 35 puffs.
