Spiced Pecans

  • 1 egg white, slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 2 cups pecan halves

Add water to egg white. Dissolve sugar into the egg-water mixture. Add salt and spices; mix well. Dip nuts into mixture and place flat side down on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 250° until golden brown (about 1 hour).
