Cabbage Karashi Miso (Cabbage with Mustard & Miso Sauce)

  • 1/2 small head cabbage

Shred and cook the cabbage in boiling water for 5 minutes. Mix with karashi miso and serve.

Karashi Miso sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons miso
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon gourmet powder
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard

Grind miso in suribachi. Add vinegar, sugar, gourmet powder and dry mustard mixed with a little water.
