Hot Crab Salad

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup shrimp (boiled & chopped)
  • 1 can crab
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 8 water chestnuts (chopped)
  • 2 cups potatoes (boiled & cubed)
  • 1 can cream of celery soup (no water)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1 T. butter
  • 1/2 cup bread or cracker crumbs

Melt butter, add crumbs and set aside. Beat egg and add all other ingredients. Pour into a 6×10 or 8×8-inch pan. Sprinkle buttered crumbs on top and bake at 350º for 30 minutes.
