Chocolate-Filled Snowballs

  • 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 Lb Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Cup Walnuts (chopped)
  • 40 Ea Chocolate Kisses
  • Powdered Sugar

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Cream sugar, butter, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
3. Stir in flour and nuts. Chill dough for about ½ hour.
4. Remove foil from kisses.
5. Shape dough around each kiss completely and roll to make a ball.
6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
7. Cool slightly, remove to wire rack, and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
