Chilled Tofu Appetizer (Hiyayako)

- 1 block tofu (firm or soft)
- 1/4 c. green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tsp. fresh gingerroot, finely grated
- 2 T. shoyu
Place block of tofu on an attractive plate. Place ginger in the center. Garnish with chopped green onions. Pour shoyu lightly over top to flavor the tofu. Keep in refrigerator until ready to serve. Before serving, cut into squares.
