Strawberry Mochi

  • Fresh Strawberries
  • 1 Can Koshi An
  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 pound Mochiko
  • Potato Starch

Wrap strawberries with koshi an and leave on side. In a saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat until the sugar dissolves. Gradually add the mochiko and mix well. Remove from heat. Place mixture on a surface that is powdered well with potato starch. Pound well. Pull mochi in small pieces and wrap around each strawberry pinching the ends.
