Blueberry Cream Cheese Cake

  • 1 bottle Avoset cream
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar (or 1/2 cup granulated sugar)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 can blueberry pie filling (chilled)

Crust:

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
  • 1 cup flour

Mix all crust ingredients in 9″ x 9″ square pan and spread evenly in pan. Bake in 325º oven until done to desired brownness (about 25 minutes).

Whip cream. Soften cream cheese and add sugar and vanilla. Fold in whipped cream. Pour mixture in pie crust. Spread blueberry pie filling over cream cheese. Refrigerate.

Note: Also good with cherry pie filling.
