Chinese Mochi Rice

  • 3 cups Mochi Rice
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1/2 pound Roast Pork
  • 1/2 pound Lup Cheong
  • 1 can Sliced Mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup Green Onion, chopped

Wash and drain rice. Soak in water for 1 hour. Add broth, roast pork, lup cheong, mushrooms (including liquid) and green onions. Mix and put in a casserole dish.

Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 1 hour or cook in a rice cooker.

Salted black olives, Chinese taro or 1 teaspoon of Chinese five spice may be added.
