Crabmeat Delight
(This is a delicious cold dip but it is equally good piled high on toast rounds and heated in a hot oven (450°)
- 1 cup crabmeat
- ¼ cup lime juice
- 3 oz. cream cheese
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsps. mayonnaise
- pinch salt
- 1 tbsp. minced onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. finely chopped chives
- 2 dashes Tabasco
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Marinate crabmeat in the lime juice for at least 1 hour. Whip the cream cheese and cream with electric mixer until mixture is smooth. Add mayonnaise and blend well. Add onion, chives, and garlic. Fold crabmeat into the cream. Add Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce. Makes about 2 cups.
