Vegetable Mixed Rice

Mrs. Hirayama – Paukaa

  • 2½ c cooked rice
  • ½ can luncheon meat finely cut
  • 1/3 c chopped celery
  • 1/3 c chopped carrots
  • 1/3 c chopped potatoes
  • ¼ c chopped onions
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ajinomoto
  • Dash of pepper

In a frying pan, cook luncheon meat with as little oil as possible, but enough to prevent meat from scorching. Add vegetables, salt, pepper and ajinomoto. Remove from stove and mix this into hot rice. Serves 6.
