Teriyaki Sauce

  • 1 c. shoyu
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 piece ginger root, grated fine
  • 1 clove garlic, grated fine
  • 1/4 tsp. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. liquor, optional

Combine sauce and can be used for the following dishes.

1. Soaking meat, fish, chicken or pork for BBQ dish.
2. Use part of sauce for Hekka, Pork Tofu, Nishime, cooking vegetables and other Japanese dishes.
