Strawberry Shortcake

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 box strawberry Jell-o (follow instructions on box & cool)
  • 1 box (10 oz.) frozen strawberries
  • 1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip

Bake yellow cake according to instructions on the box. While cake is still hot, prick MANY holes with chopsticks and pour strawberry Jell-o slowly over the cake. Chill 1/2 hour. Mix 2/3 of Cool Whip with thawed strawberries and frost the cake. Return to chill until ready to serve.
