Sticky Orange Rolls
- 1 2-cup biscuit recipe
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp orange peel
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp cloves
- 1 6-oz can frozen orange juice
- 4 Tbsp butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
Prepare biscuit dough; roll in a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick. Mix together the 2 Tbsp sugar, orange peel, cinnamon and cloves; spread evenly over dough. Roll dough like a jelly roll; cut into 9 slices.
Heat undiluted orange juice, butter and sugar until blended; pour in an 8-inch square pan or round baking dish. Place slices of dough, cut side down, in the orange mixture. Bake in 425 degree oven 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Immediately turn out rolls on a plate.
Yield: 9 rolls
