Sour Cream Banana Bread

Cream:

  • 1/2 c. shortening or margarine
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar

Sift:

  • 1 1/2-2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Mix together:

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. mashed bananas
  • 1/4-1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Add banana mixture to shortening mixture and mix well. Add dry ingredients to the mixture above. Bake in 5×2″ E-Z foil bread tins (greased) for 45 minutes in 350 degree oven.
