Potato Chip Cookies

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 lb. butter (do not use margarine)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup crumbled potato chips (thick variety)
  • Powdered sugar

Cream butter and sugar well. Add vanilla and cream well. Add flour a little at a time. Add chips. Batter will be thick.

Spoon on cookie sheet and flatten with spoon. Bake at 300º to 325º for 10 to 12 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Makes 7 dozen.
