Portuguese Crackers

  • 6 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup oil or melted margarine
  • 1¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Sift together: Flour, baking powder and salt and set aside. Beat the eggs in a bowl, add oil, sugar and vanilla. Mix until fluffy.

To the egg mixture, add the flour mixture to form a stiff dough. Roll out and shape into crackers. Place on cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees until a little brown. These crackers should be a little hard.
