Peppermint Fondue

  • ½ cup milk
  • 3 tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1-14 oz. pkge creamy-white frosting mix
  • ¾ cup finely crushed peppermint candies
  • 2 drops red food coloring

In a saucepan heat milk and butter till butter is melted. Add frosting mix and peppermint candies; mix well. Stir in food coloring. Pour into fondue pot; place over burner. Dip cookies or cake in fondue; serves 6.
Suggested dippers: Chocolate wafers, pound cake, angel cake.
